I did it!

My husband had to go out of town for work this week and is coming home tonight! I have survived 3 nights and 4 days without him. Barely, but hey I made it! I am so blessed to have such a great guy in my life. I cannot wait to give him a big hug and let him know how much I appreciate him, I need to say it way more. It is crazy how you forget to do the little things when life gets so busy. The little things are the most important. Sophie has been asking for her Daddy everyday and wants to call him all the time. He is a really great dad! I love you my handsome man!

Naomi Selma is here!

She is here! Naomi Selma was born on October 8th, 2009 at 7:37 in Provo, Utah. Tyler and I went to Utah Valley Hospital at 10:30 in the morning to be induced. Tyler's mom and stepdad came down to watch Sophie for the day. She had so much fun with them. They took her to build a bear and walked at the mall and played all day. They got me started on potossin at 12:30 and I could no longer stand the pain of contractions, so at 4:30 I had the epidural and Dr. Savage came in at 5:00 pm to break my water. At about 6:00 pm I was dilated to a 6 and then at about 7:00 pm I was ready to start pushing, but we had to wait for the doctor. I was able to get Naomi out in 17 minutes. When Naomi came out there was a large tight knot in the cord, and Dr. Savage let us know that angels were watching over Naomi because that type of knot is what they see in stillborn babies. So scary. Naomi is super healthy and strong, a miracle. Heavenly Father has truly blessed us. We are so thankful that we did not wait to have her on the due date. She is so beautiful and a great sleeper compared to Sophie when she was a newborn. We have 2 beautiful healthy girls and could not be happier. Thanks to everyone for their help. The hospital did not allow Sophie to come and visit me so we had to have lots of help with family and friends watching her while Tyler came during the day to spend some time with Naomi and me. We love you guys.

ABC's

Our smart little monkey singing her favorite song. It has been fun trying to keep up with a 2 year old and being 9 months pregnant. I am so thankful to my family for helping me while Tyler is away. My mom slept over last night just in case I went into labor. So sweet of her. Thanks for your help. Love you guys.
