She is here! Naomi Selma was born on October 8th, 2009 at 7:37 in Provo, Utah. Tyler and I went to Utah Valley Hospital at 10:30 in the morning to be induced. Tyler's mom and stepdad came down to watch Sophie for the day. She had so much fun with them. They took her to build a bear and walked at the mall and played all day. They got me started on potossin at 12:30 and I could no longer stand the pain of contractions, so at 4:30 I had the epidural and Dr. Savage came in at 5:00 pm to break my water. At about 6:00 pm I was dilated to a 6 and then at about 7:00 pm I was ready to start pushing, but we had to wait for the doctor. I was able to get Naomi out in 17 minutes. When Naomi came out there was a large tight knot in the cord, and Dr. Savage let us know that angels were watching over Naomi because that type of knot is what they see in stillborn babies. So scary. Naomi is super healthy and strong, a miracle. Heavenly Father has truly blessed us. We are so thankful that we did not wait to have her on the due date. She is so beautiful and a great sleeper compared to Sophie when she was a newborn. We have 2 beautiful healthy girls and could not be happier. Thanks to everyone for their help. The hospital did not allow Sophie to come and visit me so we had to have lots of help with family and friends watching her while Tyler came during the day to spend some time with Naomi and me. We love you guys.
